Charles W. "Bill" Farmer, Sr., 60, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017 in Urbana Health and Rehab Center.

He was born June 16, 1957 in Dayton, the son of Orville and Donna June (Huff) Farmer. Bill was a graduate of Mechanicsburg High School and Ohio Hi-Point Career Center. He worked as a pipe fitter in West Jefferson and later worked at Beach Manufacturing. Bill was very resourceful and enjoyed picking antiques and collectibles as well as scrapping. In his spare time, Bill loved to fish, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his sons, Charles (Sasha) Farmer, Jr. and Josh (Nicole) Wunderly; his grandchildren, Malorie, Colby, Landon, Quentin, Kayleigh and Saydie; his siblings, Debbie (Jerry) Carroll, Robert "Bobbie" Farmer, Larry Farmer, Carl "Eddie" (Le Anne) Farmer, Tammy (Rich) Moore, Donna (Charles) Venrick, and Fred (Jane) Miller; his lifelong friend, Debbi Ricketts; and his 14 nieces and nephews, including Gordon Lambert and Dylan Lambert.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, Fred Miller; his daughter, Katie; and his brother, John Farmer.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 12, 2017 in the SKILLMAN, McDONALD & VERNON Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg, with Pastor Lisa Atchison officiating. The family will receive friends for 1 hour prior to the service from 10-11 AM. Burial will follow in McConkey Cemetery, Catawba.

Bill's family wishes to send a sincere "Thank You" to Urbana Health and Rehab Center as well as Dr. Ullah and nurse aide, Shannon for taking such great care of Bill.
