Clarence Eugene "Fletch" Fletcher, 92, of Middleburg, Ohio passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 in Blanchard Place Assisted Living, Kenton, Ohio.
He was born May 16, 1925 in Milford Center, Ohio, the son of the late Clarence J. and Lela (Overfield) Fletcher.
Fletch was a 1943 graduate of Allen Center High School. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He was a life member of the American Legion Harold Kerr Post # 173 and VFW, Logan County, Bellefontaine; where he was very involved and a proud member of the color guard. He was a member of the Middleburg United Methodist Church. Fletch was a farmer, he enjoyed yard work and working on cars.
Fletch was preceded in death by his wife, Martha (Inskeep) Fletcher, a grandson, Zach Ferryman and 3 sisters, Viola, Francella and Shirley.
He leaves behind a brother Ralph (Lillian) and a sister Margaret. Fletch also leaves; a son, James E. (Connie) Fletcher of Kenton and their children, Adam Fletcher and Jamie (Kyle) Bohm and her children, Kahlan & Maxie; a daughter, Jeanne (Charles) Ferryman and their daughter, Rachel Hayes and her children, Riley & Dylan and Zach's children, Kaylee & Jayden; as well as, several nieces and nephews and a loving church family along with many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2018 in the Middleburg United Methodist Church, Middleburg, Ohio with Pastor Rick Riggs officiating. The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. prior. Burial will follow in Middleburg Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Harold Kerr Post # 173.

Services are entrusted to FRESHWATER, MCDONALD & VERNON FUNERAL HOME, North Lewisburg.
